Kase traded to Bruins by Ducks for Backes, prospect, first-round pick

Anaheim - Feb. 22, 2020: Ondrej Kase was traded to the Boston Bruins by the Anaheim Ducks for David Backes, Axel Andersson and a first-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft on Friday. "He's a 24-year-old player that has a lot of offensive upside and talent overall," Bruins general manager Don Sweeney said of Kase. FULL STORY

Kesler unlikely to play for Ducks next season after surgery on right hip

Anaheim - May. 14, 2019: Ryan Kesler is unlikely to play for the Anaheim Ducks next season after having surgery May 9 to resurface his right hip, though he could resume his NHL career at some point. Anaheim - Oct. 27, 2015: Anaheim Ducks center Ryan Getzlaf will not be in the lineup against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday after flying back to California to have a non-emergency appendectomy. The Ducks said the surgery will take place Wednesday. Getzlaf has had discomfort intermittently over the past six weeks and is expected to be sidelined 4-12 days.
