Stoney Point - Dec. 14, 2014 - It was Head Coach Alain Vigneault's first game back in Vancouver. His New York Rangers delivered a strong performance skating to a 5-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Centre. Ryan McDonagh, J.T. Miller and Mats Zuccarello all scored in a four-minute span of the first period, with nine different Rangers recording a point before the game was seven minutes old.

Zuccarelllo would score his second of the game in the middle frame. Marc Staal also tallied for the Rangers. Nick Bonino broke Henrik Lundqvist's shutout bid at 4:20 of the first period. Ryan Miller took the loss for Vancouver.
