That lead to the birth of Murph's Fantasy Hockey League in 2003 and the Windsor Fantasy Hockey League in 2013. The Spitfires came out victorious in a huge victory that has brought the feel-good factor back. This has been the case for quite some time. Windsor - Mar. 23, 2022: Over 3200 fans were treated, to an old fashion hockey shootout, where the Windsor Spitfires offence prevailed on top 7-5 over Kitchener Rangers. This win gives the Spitfires sole position of first place looking down at the rest of the Western Conference.
