Akwesasne - February 18, 2012 - The Akwesasne Warriors came back from a 3-1 deficit against Brooklyn going into the third period and won the game 4-3. The former New Jersey Devil and current FHL league leading scorer Pierre Dagenais had an assist on each of the Warriors first two goals. Dagenais scored the tying goal at 11:50 of the third period. Jean Rene Forget gave the Warriors the lead and scored what would turn out to be the game winner with 4:03 left in regulation. The 225 people in attendance were ecstatic to watch this exciting come-back win!

Alexandre Vincent played his first ever game as a Warrior and got the win making a whopping 47 saves. Vincent, who was selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the 4th round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, has experience playing in the QMJHL and the CHL. Brooklyn out-shot Akwesasne 50 to 43, and the Warriors defense seemed to be standing around the entire game. Despite that, Vincent kept the Warriors in the game, and he made the come-back possible.

In other hockey action, The Jr. A Cornwall Colts beat Kemptville 10-1 and Tylor Spink scored the hat trick including a pair of power-play goals, and he also had an assist. Roman Ammirato also had a pair of power play goals and an assist. Lukas Hafner stopped 14 of 15 shots for the win. Kemptville's only goal was by Kurt Gowdy on the power play.
