Water over Road Warning - Lighthouse Cove

Several roads in Lighthouse Cove currently have water over the road. North West winds along with high lake levels have caused this surge. Lakeshore crews have been dispatched and road barricades are erected. These barricades are to ensure local traffic only pass along the roads as driving through water covered sections of roads can exacerbate flood water conditions for area residents.

Lighthouse Cove - Aug. 3, 2020:
Several roads in Lighthouse Cove currently have water over the road. North West winds along with high lake levels have caused this surge.

#Lakeshore crews have been dispatched and road barricades are erected. These barricades are to ensure local traffic only pass along the roads as driving through water covered sections of roads can exacerbate flood water conditions for area residents.

The roads involved include the following intersections at Tisdelle: Mariners, Crest River, Melody, Heaven and Island. All roads are currently passable.

Lakeshore asks people to avoid the area until the waters subside. Thank you for your understanding.
