161st Annual Comber Fair has been cancelled

The Comber Agricultural Society has made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the 161st Comber Fair, originally scheduled for August 7,8,9, 2020. This decision was made in consultation with our municipality, our public health department and in accordance with recommendations from the province. Nothing is more important than the safety of our guests and volunteers.

Comber - May. 26, 2020:
To our valued members, volunteers, sponsors, fair patrons, vendors, friends and family of the Comber Fair,

We understand the emotional sentiment that goes along with our fair and the sense of loss that comes with this cancellation. Families look forward to it all year. We often have guests who travel here from all over Ontario as well as from various parts of the United States.

The Comber Fair has been taking place annually since 1859 and has weathered challenging times before and will get through this time as well. Please be assured this is not the end of the Comber Fair.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2021 Comber Fair to be held on August 13, 14 and 15, 2021.

Thank you all for your understanding and for your continued support.

We wish you and your loved ones health, wellness and safety during these difficult times.

Sincerely,

Ian Pearce
President
Comber Agricultural Society and Fair
