It is from a few years ago when the team visited Comox, and not the escort for Capt Casey's final journey home. "Friends: there is a photo going viral of the @CFSnowbirds flying alongside an Aurora (Long Range Patrol aircraft). It is from a few years ago when the team visited Comox, and not the escort for Capt Casey's final journey home. Respectfully ask that if you do share this photo that you clarify the origins in a caption - or refrain from sharing. It is causing Jenn's family and friends distress, as they are under the impression that the repatriation ceremony was changed without informing them.

Capt Casey will return to Halifax on Sunday. Members of 15 Wing and 431 Squadron will accompany her on the aircraft, but there will be no air escort of that aircraft."
