McGuinty Government helps Operation Come Home resume delivery

Operation Come Home will be able to deliver Beau's products again thanks to an exemption made by the McGuinty Government to the Liquor Licence Act and the Liquor Control Act.

Ottawa - December 3, 2011 - Operation Come Home will be able to deliver Beau's products again thanks to an exemption made by the McGuinty Government to the Liquor Licence Act and the Liquor Control Act.

Under the exemption, Bottleworks, operated by Ottawa charity Operation Come Home, will now be able to fill orders and pick up alcohol directly from Beau's All Natural Brewing Company.

"This is about everyone coming together to do the right thing, support a great charity, and help create jobs. Every once in a while you find an old rule that no longer makes sense. I'm so proud that we were able to work quickly to get this right," said Grant Crack, MPP for Glengarry-Prescott-Russell.

Operation Come Home is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting street youth. Operation Come Home remains the sole organization in Canada that reunites youth with their families or legal guardian.
