Cornwall Police continue investigation into fatal crash on Brookdale

The Cornwall Community Police Service is continuing its investigation into the fatal motor vehicle collision which occurred on Brookdale Avenue near Fifth Street West shortly after 1000 pm. on October 7th. The motor vehicle was travelling southbound on Brookdale Avenue when it lost control and struck a concrete bridge pillar.

Cornwall - Oct. 11, 2011 - The Cornwall Community Police Service is continuing its investigation into the fatal motor vehicle collision which occurred on Brookdale Avenue near Fifth Street West shortly after 1000 pm. on October 7th. The motor vehicle was travelling southbound on Brookdale Avenue when it lost control and struck a concrete bridge pillar. The 17 year old male driver was transported to the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell Site where he was pronounced dead.

The driver’s identity will not be released at the request of the family.
