Cornwall Fire Department responds to a kitchen fire on Easton Avenue

The Cornwall Fire Department issued a media release today. At 2:33 pm, on Sunday October 2, a call was received by the 911 operator advising of a fire in the kitchen on the 1200 block on Easton Ave. The Fire Services Department responded with four vehicles from both stations.

Cornwall - Oct. 2, 2011 - The Cornwall Fire Department issued a media release today. At 2:33 pm, on Sunday October 2, a call was received by the 911 operator advising of a fire in the kitchen on the 1200 block on Easton Ave.

The Fire Services Department responded with four vehicles from both stations. A total of 10 fire personnel were at the scene.

The fire was quickly extinguished with no injuries or loss of life. The Fire Prevention unit was dispatched to investigate the cause of the fire.
