Rothwell-Osnabruck School and Caveman Strong form fitness partnership

Intermediate students at Rothwell-Osnabruck School are excited to be kicking off their new partnership with Caveman Strong today. As an incentive to promote health and fitness, intermediate students will have the opportunity to visit the Caveman Strong facility in Cornwall on a monthly basis.

Ingleside - Oct. 1, 2011 - Intermediate students at Rothwell-Osnabruck School are excited to be kicking off their new partnership with Caveman Strong today. As an incentive to promote health and fitness, intermediate students will have the opportunity to visit the Caveman Strong facility in Cornwall on a monthly basis.

Students will participate in a kids program designed by Tyler Touchette, owner of Caveman Strong and certified strength coach. Each visit will be geared towards this age group and will focus on teaching new skills while having fun. The visits will be taught by certified instructors in a safe environment. Activities include intro to power-lifting, structural balance work, agility work, balance work, and activities on the field turf. The activities are designed to ensure students are having fun while learning essential health and life skills.

This opportunity will give students exposure to a variety of activities where they have the opportunity to excel and push themselves in a new way. This program puts emphasis on setting goals and working hard to reach them.

Rothwell-Osnabruck School is also holding a Fitness Fundraiser Challenge which is being held October 21, 2011. For a minimum of $35 in pledges, students will be able to participate in a full day of fitness activities and physical challenges led by local professionals including Tyler Touchette of Caveman Strong, Tom Irvine of Quest Fitness, Jason St-Louis of MMA and more.
