Cornwall - Sep. 23, 2011 - We have some more good news that we would like to share with our readers. Earlier this week we told you that we had grown to become the number one online media site in Cornwall and SD&G!
Today, Alexa is reporting that, for the first time, our site has been ranked in the top 2,000 sites in Canada!
In fact, our ranking today was 1,982. The lower your Alexa number, the better your ranking is. Today, we are followed in the top five by CornwallFreeNews.com (2,018), Standard Freeholder (3,337), The Cornwall Daily (5,325) and The Local Seeker (9,212).
Since our launch date, we have been monitoring the Alexa rankings regularly and we are pleased that we are the first online area media site to break the 2,000 mark.
Today, is just the 240th day that our site has been live and already we have provided our readers with 1,124 stories. That is an average of almost five stories a day and we continue to grow! We currently have 17 columnists who provide regular submissions to OH, along with a growing number of readers who submit content under our contributors section.
