Two South Dundas domestic incidents lead to charges

The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Ontario Provncial Police: On 23 Aug 11, at approximately 11:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Riverside Drive, South Dundas Township. The investigation revealed that a 22yr old male and his ex- girlfriend were involved in a verbal altercation.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT
(South Dundas) - On 23 Aug 11, at approximately 11:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Riverside Drive, South Dundas Township.

The investigation revealed that a 22yr old male and his ex- girlfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male damaging the residence and assaulting the female.

The male faces charges of: Assault with a Weapon, Mischief under $5,000

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.

(South Dundas) - On 23 Aug 11, at approximately 4:00am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident in South Dundas Township.

The investigation revealed that a 17yr old male and his ex-girlfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male threatening to harm himself.

Further investigation revealed that the male had sexually assaulted the female.

He was arrested and faces charges of: Sexual Assault, Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance, Breach of Recognizance, Fail to Comply with Sentence or Disposition

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
