Cornwall Police Service: Official Media Release - July 13, 2011
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service: Michal Falecki, 26, of Mississauga was arrested on the 12th of July, 2011 following an altercation at a Second Street West establishment. It is alleged that when the male was asked to leave the premises, he broke a window.

Cornwall - Jul. 13, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Community Police Service:

BREACH OF UNDERTAKING and PROBATION
Cornwall, Ont. - A 15 year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 11th of July, 2011 during a routine traffic stop for breaching his conditions. He was bound by a Probation Order with a condition to Not have any communication with a specific male. The youth was located as a passenger in a motor vehicle and police allege that he was located in the company of the male. As a result, the youth was arrested for 1 count of Breach of Probation. He was released to the custody of a parent and is scheduled to appear in court on the 04th of August, 2011 to answer to the charge. His name is withheld due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREACH OF UNDERTAKING and PROBATION
Cornwall, Ont. - An 18 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 11th of July, 2011 during a routine traffic stop for breaching his conditions. He was bound by an Undertaking Order and a Probation Order with conditions to Not have any contact with persons known to him to have a criminal record and to Not have any communication with a specific male. The male was located as a passenger in a motor vehicle and police allege that he was located in the company of the specified male. It is also alleged that another male in the vehicle had a criminal record. As a result, he was arrested for 1 count of Breach of Undertaking and 1 count of Breach of Probation. He is scheduled to appear in court on the 02nd of August, 2011 to answer to the charges.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5,000.00
Cornwall, Ont. - Michal Falecki, 26, of Mississauga was arrested on the 12th of July, 2011 following an altercation at a Second Street West establishment. He was released to appear in court on the 02nd of August, 2011 to answer to the charge.

BREACH OF UNDERTAKING
Cornwall, Ont. - A 14 year-old Cornwall female turned herself into police on the 12th of July, 2011 for breaching her conditions. She was bound by an Undertaking Order with conditions to Abide by a curfew and to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. On the previous day, it is alleged that she left her residence and failed to return home for curfew. Police were contacted and an investigation commenced. The young person is facing 2 counts of Breach of Undertaking and she was held in custody until court. Her name is not being released due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT and MISCHIEF UNDER $5,000.00
Cornwall, Ont. - A 19 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 12th of July, 2011 following an investigation. It is alleged that the male made repeated contact with his 17 year-old ex-girlfriend despite warnings. On May 13th, it is also further alleged that he caused mischief to her motor vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation commenced. The male is facing 1 count of Criminal Harassment and 1 count of Mischief Under $5,000.00. His name is not being released as it may identify the victim in this incident.

BREACH OF UNDERTAKING and PROBATION
Cornwall, Ont. - Christopher Bruce Cameron, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on the 12th of July, 2011 during a routine traffic stop. He was bound by an Undertaking Order with a condition to Not operate a motor vehicle and 2 Probation Orders with the same condition: To Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. On the offence date, it is alleged that the male was operating a motor vehicle in the east end of the city and failed to stop for police. The driver fled the area on foot and was located a short distance away. He is facing 1 count of Flight from Police Officer, 1 count of Breach of Undertaking and 1 count of Breach of Probation. He was released to appear in court on the 26th of July, 2011 to answer to the charges.

ASSAULT
Cornwall, Ont. - A 25 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 12th of July, 2011 following a domestic disturbance investigation. It is alleged that during an argument with his 37 year-old common law spouse, he pushed her. The victim did not require medical attention at the time of the incident. Police were contacted and an investigation commenced. The male is facing 1 count of Assault and he is scheduled to appear in court on the 13th of July, 2011 to answer to the charge. His name is not being released as it may identify the victim in this incident.

BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE
Cornwall, Ont. - Nikala High, 19, of Cornwall was arrested on the 12th of July, 2011 for failing to abide by her conditions. She was bound by a Recognizance Order with the following conditions: to abide by a curfew and to reside at a specific location. On the offence date past curfew, it is alleged that she was operating an e-bike on Sydney Street. She was stopped by a member of Community Patrol and it was learned that she was breaching her curfew condition. Further investigation also revealed that she was not residing at the specified address. Subsequently the female is facing 2 counts of Breach of Recognizance. She was held in custody until court.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5,000.00
Cornwall, Ont. - Justin James Pawis-Lepage, 19, of Cornwall was arrested in the early hours of July 13th, 2011. Police responded to a call of glass break at a Pitt Street business and they allege that he caused the damage to the window. The male received medical attention for his injuries. He is facing 1 count of Mischief Under $5,000.00 and was released to appear in court at a later date.
