The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Ontario Provincial Police: On 9 Jul 11, at approximately 11:00am, SD&G OPP had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Main St. Morewood, On. The stop revealed that the 50yr male driver (Jacques PARE of Carlsbad Springs, On) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

CHARGES LAID
(North Dundas) - On 9 Jul 11, at approximately 11:00am, SD&G OPP had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Main St. Morewood, On.

The stop revealed that the 50yr male driver (Jacques PARE of Carlsbad Springs, On) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of: Impaired Operation / Motor vehicle, Exceed 80mgs / Motor vehicle

He is scheduled to appear 26 Jul 11 Cornwall court.

(South Glengarry) - On 10 Jul 11, at approximately 7:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a male operating a vehicle in a dangerous manner on County Road 2, South Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that a female was in line at a gas station when she became involved in a verbal altercation with another customer. The 56yr old male became aggressive and bumped into her vehicle with his vehicle.

When another male came to the victim’s aid the 56yr old male drove his vehicle toward him.

The 56yr old male ( Isaak AMANATIADIS of Montreal, QC) was arrested and faces charges of: Dangerous Operation â€" Motor Vehicle x3

He is scheduled to appear 03 Aug 11 in Alexandria court.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT
(North Glengarry) - On 9 Jul 11, at approximately 7:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Concession 1 North Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that a female and her 34yr old boyfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male assaulting the female.

He was arrested and faces charges of: Assault, Mischief, Breach of Probation order

He is scheduled to appear 19 Jul 11 in Cornwall court.
