Windsor Symphony Orchestra - No Stuffiness Here
The WSO (Windsor Symphony Orchestra) POPS season blasted off with Chris Hadfield (yes, the Bowie singing astronaut and incredible Canadian) and what a special evening my husband and I were privileged to enjoy. Maestro Franz (the guy waving the stick) was his usual charismatic self and his friendship with Hadfield had the two collaborate to launch Hadfield's first ever full show with the WSO.

Windsor - October 21, 2014 - The WSO (Windsor Symphony Orchestra) POPS season blasted off with Chris Hadfield (yes, the Bowie singing astronaut and incredible Canadian) and what a special evening my husband and I were privileged to enjoy. Maestro Franz (the guy waving the stick) was his usual charismatic self and his friendship with Hadfield had the two collaborate to launch Hadfield's first ever full show with the WSO.

So you missed this spectacular treat and you realize you need to make the WSO your friend so you don't miss another. Celtic Fusion, Scottish Fantasy, Pink Floyd and the Christmas Holiday Pops ... have I peaked your interest? It's a great date night so visit their site at www.windsorsymphony.ca to find your concert of choice, plan your dinner and wow your partner or friend.

I will remind everyone of the fantastic PBn'J Concert Series which we enjoy each season with our now four year old son. We began the musical journey soon after we moved here when he was two and he's now four. It's informal. There are chairs but plenty of space to move around and enjoy the music. Again, check out the site for dates and locations but don't miss out on the series.

Let the music take you away!
