Windsor - Nov. 17, 2013 - Santa and Mother Nature are obviously great friends because she cleared the way for Santa's helicopter arrival at Devonshire Mall in Windsor, Ontario this morning. No worries, Santa was giving Rudolf and the boys some R&R before the big day is upon them as he decided to fly mechanically to Canada's south to greet the kids.

I could feel the Christmas magic beginning as I watched smiling children receiving Santa hats and finger puppets from the Devonshire staff and their helpers. I'm sure Santa was pleased as "thank yous" were plentiful and Santa is always thrilled with good manners.

Everyone appreciated the mild temperatures while being entertained by the rythum of the Windsor Optimist Youth Band (follow on Facebook) and crazy antics of the Stilt Guys (www.stiltguys.com). It was a wonderful way to spend the morning.
