Ingleside - Apr. 18, 2012 - Rothwell-Osnabruck School's Interact Club was thrilled to have the opportunity to meet Rick Mercer at the Day of Pink Gala held on April 11, 2012 at the University of Ottawa. 8.1 million people registered with this international event to raise awareness against bullying, discrimination, and homophobia in schools and communities. Lyndsey Bergeron, Interact Club member, exclaimed, "We are a part of something big!" Students also enjoyed a variety of musical performances, including Inuit throat singers and the group Orpheus. The Interact Club members have been invited to Ottawa with Jeremy Dias on June 12, 2012 - what an honour!
