Cornwall - Jun. 24, 2011 - The Board of Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off is pleased to have the support of many different businesses in the Cornwall area, and thanks them for their financial and in-kind donations to the festival.

Bill Hughes of Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is shown as he donates $1,250 to Jason Jesmer, Lift-Off Sponsorship Vice Chair. OPG is a previous supporter of Lift-Off and have increased their support for the 2011 Festival.

Cornwall Lift-Off was founded in 1994 and has since hosted back-to-back Canadian National Hot Air Balloon Championships in 1996 and 1997. The success of the festival has grown considerably from its modest beginnings in 1994. The 2011 festival welcomes 25 hot air balloon teams, the Homenuik Carnival, a new Family Zone, and great musical entertainment.
