Cornwall - May. 26, 2011 - Work on Cornwall's low-level bridge project has begun. Boaters are being warned of the construction by the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, which will close portions of the river during specified construction periods.

Signs and channel markers have been placed in the river to guide boaters with temporary marine traffic routes. Green markers during pier construction will steer boaters close to the Cornwall shore.
