Thousands of local residents get up early to watch Royal Wedding
Cornwall & S, D and G - Apr. 29, 2011 - It was an early start for thousands of Cornwall and S, D,and G residents who got up early to watch the Royal Wedding. Today, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge married Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey, at 11:00 am BST.

William, who is second in the line of succession to Elizabeth II, first met Middleton in 2001, while both were students at the University of St Andrews. Their engagement, which began on 20 October 2010, was announced on 16 November 2010. Following the wedding, the couple intend to continue residing on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales, where Prince William is based as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot.
