Kitchener - June 28, 2013 - The Ontario Hockey League today announced the 2013-14 regular season schedule.

The 2013-14 season opens on Thursday, September 19 with four games, including the Eastern Conference Champion Barrie Colts hosting the Saginaw Spirit.

The Kitchener Rangers' season kicks off with the Home Opener on Friday, September 20 when they host the Spirit at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium at 7:30pm.

The tradition of Friday nights at The Aud will continue in 2013-14: the Rangers will play 22 Friday night home games, constituting over 60 percent of the home schedule.

This season's schedule also features a pair of daytime matinees against division rivals that you won't want to miss! Celebrate the Thanksgiving long weekend with the Rangers, when we host the London Knights at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 14. The team will also welcome fans to Rock the Aud on Family Day with a matinee game with the Erie Otters on Monday, February 17.

The Ontario Hockey League is committed to accommodating our student athletes by scheduling primarily on weekends. In total, 74 percent (50 of 68) of Kitchener's regular season contests will be played between Friday and Sunday.
