SHORT SHIFT - With 10-2 win, X-Spits clinch playoff spot

With an impressive 10-2 win over the Kingston Frontenacs, the Windsor Spitfires have clinched a playoff spot. Jean Luc Foudy had two goals and two assists, while Will Cuylle had two goals and one assist. Fronts exceptional player, Shane Wright was held off the scoreboard despite setting a Kingston team record on Saturday for most goals by a rookie.


Windsor - Mar. 2, 2020:
With an impressive 10-2 win over the Kingston Frontenacs, the Windsor Spitfires have clinched a playoff spot. Jean Luc Foudy had two goals and two assists, while Will Cuylle had two goals and one assist. Fronts exceptional player, Shane Wright was held off the scoreboard despite setting a Kingston team record on Saturday for most goals by a rookie. He surpassed Bernie Nicholls.

If the playoffs started today, the Spits would draw the Flint Firebirds but lots can change in the final nine games of the season. The Spitfires are back in action Thursday night when the Owen Sound Attack come to town.
