The following is an official media release from the Ontario Provincial Police: An investigation revealed that a 33yr old male was breaching his conditions by repeatedly contacting a female that he was directed not to communicate with.

South Glengarry - Oct. 3, 2011 - The following is an official media release from the Ontario Provincial Police:

CHARGES LAID
(South Glengarry) - On September 30, at approximately 9:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a possible impaired driver on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that a 53yr old male (of Stony Plain, Alberta) was operating a tractor trailer under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80mgs / Motor Vehicle.

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.



(South Glengarry) - On October 1, at approximately 05:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a possible impaired driver on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that a 58yr old male (Malcolm MACLEOD of London, On) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80mgs / Motor Vehicle.

He is scheduled to appear October 18 in Cornwall court.



(South Glengarry) - On 01Oct11, at approximately 1:00pm, a member of the O.P.P Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township.

The stop revealed that the 49yr old male driver (Brian BOLGAN of Toronto, On) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80mgs / Motor Vehicle.

He is scheduled to appear November 2 in Alexandria court.



DOMESTIC
(North Glengarry) - On September 30, at approximately 4:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Main St. Alexandria, On.

The investigation revealed that a female and her 25yr old husband were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male threatening the female.

He was arrested and faces charges of Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm and Fail to Comply - Undertaking Before Officer in Charge.

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.



BREACH OF PROBATION
(North Glengarry) - On October 2, at approximately 6:30pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Lochiel St. Alexandria, On.
The stop revealed that the 19yr old male driver from Deux-Montagnes, QC was breaching his probation by being in the company of a female that he was not to have any communication with.

He was arrested and faces charges of Breach of Probation Order x2.

He is scheduled to appear November 1 in Cornwall court.



(South Glengarry) - On September 30, at approximately 10:00am, SD&G OPP officer responded to a report of a male breaching his release conditions on County Road 2, South Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that a 33yr old male was breaching his conditions by repeatedly contacting a female that he was directed not to communicate with.

He was arrested and faces charges of Fail to Comply - Undertaking Before Officer in Charge x4 and Breach of Probation.

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.



BREAK & ENTER
(North Stormont) - On October 1, at approximately 6:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a break and enter on Tolmies Corners Road, North Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that sometime during the afternoon unknown suspect(s) gained entry into a residence, once inside the culprits removed various items of electronic equipment.

The investigation is ongoing.



(South Stormont) - On October 1, at approximately 4:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a break and enter on Otto Road, South Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that sometime during the day unknown suspects(s) gained entry into a residence, once inside the culprits removed electronic equipment and jewellery.

The investigation is ongoing.
