Canucks look to ignite with win over Flames
Will this be Ryan Kesler’s breakout game for the Vancouver Canucks? Or maybe David Booth will decide that tonight is the night to make his mark. But one thing is for sure, and that is mercifully October is behind us, and November looms large on the horizon, which means it is now time for the Canucks to get it in gear!

Vancouver - Nov. 1, 2011 - Can the Canucks follow up their win against the Capitals on Saturday night with another strong performance against the Flames? Seeing as the Flames are not only in the same division, they also happen to be HATED by the Canucks so I don’t think it will be too difficult for the boys to get up for this game and carry some of Saturday’s momentum forward to tonight’s game.

Will Saturday’s trio of goal scorers repeat their feat tonight in Calgary? Maybe. But more important to watch will be how the “expected” goal scorers will react to the team’s shot-in-the-arm performance of Saturday! Will this be Kesler’s breakout game? How about Burrows? Or maybe David Booth will decide that tonight is the night to make his mark. But one thing is for sure, and that is mercifully October is behind us, and November looms large on the horizon, which means it is now time for the Canucks to get it in gear!

After a very forgettable October, the Canucks capped off the month with a monstrous win over the mighty Capitals and now they have the opportunity to crush the Calgary Flames to show everybody, including themselves that their slow start to the season has ended. And as far as having an opponent to make a statement against, there is no better than the Calgary Flames.

October is for excuses, and like the month, it’s over. Its November, its time for winning, dominant Canucks style!

Let’s Go Canucks, start that Bus already!
