Toronto - Mar. 24, 2020: Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Commissioner David Branch, in partnership with the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), announced today the cancellation of the 2020 OHL Playoffs. The CHL additionally announced the cancellation of the 2020 Memorial Cup that was scheduled to be held in Kelowna, BC from May 22-31, 2020. The 2021 Memorial Cup will be hosted by the OHL in May 2021. FULL STORY

Toronto - Mar. 19, 2020: Ontario Hockey League Commissioner David Branch announced today the conclusion of the 2019-20 OHL Regular Season. Following a meeting with the OHL Board of Governors and consultation with medical professionals, it was determined that the remaining 56 games of the 2019-20 OHL Regular Season schedule will be cancelled and not played. Windsor - Mar. 18, 2020: As many of you know on March 12, 2020 the Ontario Hockey League paused all hockey activity. The Windsor Spitfires support all the efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19. From now until Monday April 6, 2020, the offices of the Windsor Spitfires Hockey Club will be closed. Staff will work from home if possible and will be directed to volunteer their time to assist their family, friends and neighbors coping with this pandemic. FULL STORY

Windsor - Mar. 8, 2020: The Kitchener Rangers (39-16-5-2) led for just 43-second but it was enough to pick up a win versus the Windsor Spitfires (34-20-8-0) 3-2. In a game that was broadcasted nationally on Sportsnet, The Spitfires opened up the scoring at 4:13 of the first period. Louka Henault came streaking down the left-wing and passed across the top of the crease to an unmarked Tyler Angle (29) who scored on the one-timer to make it 1-0. FULL STORY

Windsor - Mar. 6, 2020: Curtis Douglas scored a pair a goals, including his 30th of the season to send the game to OT. Kaleb Pearson scored with two seconds to go in overtime to propel the Owen Sound Attack to a 3-2 victory over the Windsor Spitfires in front of 3,527 fans at the WFCU Centre. Windsor - Mar. 2, 2020: With an impressive 10-2 win over the Kingston Frontenacs, the Windsor Spitfires have clinched a playoff spot. Jean Luc Foudy had two goals and two assists, while Will Cuylle had two goals and one assist. Windsor - Feb. 28, 2020: Robert Calisti scored at 2:54 of Overtime to give the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds a 2-1 victory over the Windsor Spitfires. The loss was the seventh straight for the Spits on home ice. Curtis Douglas notched his 25th for Windsor in the loss. FULL STORY
