To make a claim, post a reply stating what franchise wishes to claim the player (don't list a drop yet). If multiple claims are made for the same player, the lowest seed gets him. During the draft, the first round is seeding with Ruffians with first right to claim and Ice Dragons (formerly Privateers) last.
These palyers are not available to be picked in the current waiver draft, they are available AFTER only.
You cannot claim a player you cut.
A full explanation of how any multiple claims posts are processed will be posted. The main thing with multiple claims is to post them in the order of priority you want them. Once a team gets a player off waivers that team would be dropped to last pick for the second and subsequent claims. So the last place team is guaranteed their first claim but 2nd and 3rd claims wouldn't.
