Finally! Burke makes a good deal!

Well, it may not make up for the Kessel fiasco, but I think Burke made a good deal picking up a top prospect and a top 6 scorer, as well as a draft pick for the solid but over-rated Beauchemin! If healthy, Lupul should help TO put some pucks in the net, and Gardiner should be a good player in a few years (about the time Toronto is ready to make the playoffs).
IMO, a good deal for the blue and white! Opinions?

I agree. I've always liked Lupul's play (when he's healthy) He should be able to give us a good show, especially teamed up with MacArthur. Now let's see what else Burky can pull out of his hat.

I like this trade. I also am comfortable with the Kessel and Phaneuf deals.
